More Information on ELM/Pixels
River Oaks Church - Updated April 2025
All of the pixel LED lights (LED walls, LED bars, broadcast studio LEDs, etc.) are controlled from a Mac (currently in the producer booth) called the led-media-server. This Mac (aka Mac running Windows 10) runs a software called Enttec LED Mapper, or ELM for short.
ELM is responsible for functioning similar to a media server that takes in lots of live video and media, and displays it onto the LEDs at command.
This Mac mini also runs the "media-server" input on the video switcher that displays the Ubiquiti security camera feed.
If the Pixels are having problems, you may want to consider rebooting the Mac. ELM will automatically open upon reboot.
You can connect to the Mac via VNC to it's IP which is 10.200.14.3.

Enttec ELM receives a physical DMX input from the main lighting board, then processes the control signals, and outputs the "video feeds" to the LED pixels over the network on a protocol called sACN. sACN is a networked-dmx variant, that is low latency and reliable.
